We have done a quick interview with Zeynep to see how her life was affected since starting work with Beazdy.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING WITH BEADZY AND WHAT IS YOUR EXPERIENCE SO FAR?
I have been working with Beadzy for a year now. I am so happy to meet with someone who values my skills, values me as a person as well as pay me fairly for my work. Thank you so much for that. It is actually really hard to come by nowadays.
WHAT HAS CHANGED IN YOUR LIFE SINCE STARTING TO WORK WITH BEADZY?
When I started working with Beadzy, I was at the most difficult period in my life. I was getting cancer treatments and we were in a really bad spot for financially. Just at this time Beadzy started buying my products and suddenly I had this little stream of income that I was able to depend on. I am very grateful for that because that was what my family needed.
DO YOU HAVE ANY GOALS THIS YEAR THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO ACHIEVE?
I am aiming to design and make more models. Making jewellery is a big passion for me especially still going through my treatments it is something I can feel joy and take pride.
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE CURRENT ECONOMIC SITUATION IN TURKEY?
I don’t think Turkey is in a good place economically. Most people are not working. The ones are not working are not getting paid fairly and enough to live comfortably.
IS THERE ANYTHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD?
I really want to say, Beadzy has respected me as a person as well as an artist. I also want to thank everyone in Australia who is supporting Zehra and buying from her.
